Privacy policy

Effective October 4, 2026

Vetavelle ("Vetavelle", "we", "us") makes cloud practice management software for veterinary clinics. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.vetavelle.com and the Vetavelle application, how we use it, and the choices you have. Vetavelle is in development, and this policy will be updated as the product changes.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Early access and demo requests: your name, work email, practice name and role, and, if you provide them, the number of veterinarians and the software you use today.
  • Account information: your name, email address and password when you create an account with email. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see them.
  • Practice information: details you enter when you set up a practice, such as its name.

Information from Google sign-in

If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier with us. We request only these basic profile details. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, calendar or any other Google data.

Clinic records

When a veterinary practice uses Vetavelle, its staff may enter information about the practice's clients and their animals, such as names, contact details, appointments and medical records. We process this information on behalf of the practice, which decides what is collected and how it is used. If you are a client of a practice that uses Vetavelle, please contact the practice about your information.

Information collected automatically

  • Cookies needed to sign in: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to complete secure sign-in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Technical logs: our hosting and database providers record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to run and secure the service.

How we use information

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To provide the Vetavelle application to your practice.
  • To respond to early access and demo requests and tell you when Vetavelle is available.
  • To maintain, troubleshoot, secure and improve the service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

Vetavelle's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the basic profile information from Google only to sign you in and identify your account. We do not transfer it to others except the service providers listed below that help us run Vetavelle, and we do not use it for advertising or to train general-purpose AI models.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us operate Vetavelle, under agreements that limit how they use it:

  • Supabase: database and account authentication, hosted in the United States.
  • Vercel: website and application hosting.
  • Google: sign-in, if you choose Sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is active. We keep early access and demo requests until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them to contact you. Practices control how long their clinic records are kept, and can export them. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information unless we must keep it by law.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Each practice's records are kept separate by access rules enforced in the database, and staff access is controlled by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving emails from us, by contacting us at privacy@vetavelle.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. You can also remove Vetavelle's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account settings.

Children

Vetavelle is a business service for veterinary practices. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in the application.
